Hello! My name is Jennifer. I am going to be 44 years old shortly, and I still have not figured out for sure what I want to do when I grow up.
My passion lies in yoga, fitness and wellness. I have a website by that name! www.yogafitnesswellness.com
My work experience and skill background lies in Accounting and business building. I am currently in the process of trying to interlace that which I love with that which I know. I am about 6 months from an MBA, and have been in the accounting field for over 20 years. I am also a certified yoga teacher with well over 200 hours of training. I am a certified preschool teacher and a Natural Health Consultant! I obtained a meditation teaching certification as well as a Holistic Health Practitioner certificate.
How does all of this interrelate you may say?
Well, I am in the process of buying a building that will house yoga classes, a wellness center and be the hub for my online businesses which I hope will include online business mentoring for folks looking to strike out on their own! My goal is to empower you to build a business and manage it effectively, while at the same time managing the rest of your life. I want to help people to not let their businesses run them, which is unfortunately a path I see to often. A person starts a business to get out of the hub bub only ending up working 20 hours a day to keep the business running!
We want to learn to build it up, and utilize the skills and time of others to make money, freeing us to do other things that we love!
Anyway, follow the blog as it develops into something wonderful. As you see a need I may be able to fill, please email me at arkjmv@aol.com Whether you are interested in learning how to be well personally, or how to be well professionally, let me know and let’s see if we can work together to make that wish come true!

Jen,
I just happened to stumble upon your blog and was very happy to know that someone other than myself shares a passion to bring the best out of people with the use of Yoga and similar therapeutic exercises. What surprised me even more was that you have lived in Winona, MN! I went to school there and graduated just last year:) This makes me believe even more that it surely is a small world.
I have been practicing yoga for a year now at the corepoweryoga institute. I am not sure if you have heard of it but it has its several studios around the Minneapolis area. I started from knowing nothing about it to becoming a strong yogi who has embraced it with all her heart and have made it an integral part of her daily life. The joy and peace it brings to me is unimaginable and being on my mat everyday for an hour is the time I look forward to the most in the entire day!
I hope to learn more about it and get better at my practice so that one day I am able to impart this knowledge to other people and make a mark on their lives and help them to develop not only their outer but inner self as well.

It is so good to hear from you! I have heard of corepoweryoga and I actually teach a class here that I call YogaSculpt, that is loosely based on one of their classes. An update, I did buy the building. Take a peek at my website and see what is up. If you get through Winona, stop in for a class! I would love to have you. I too am a Winona State graduate, as is my daughter!! Take all you can out of yoga and enjoy the journey…
